Default [PvE] Highest Practical DPS

What is the highest practical, not Master of Damage, DPS that could be achieved without abusing PvE only skills, I'm looking at you AP + 3. Say, for example, just an average HM battle against a balanced enemy force. I'm thinking SoS, or in ideal conditions, a Spirit Strength Ranger or Sin.

I think he means, 'before eotn was released what was the highest dps in pve and how was it accomplished?'

Actually, what I meant was, "What is the highest practical DPS a Ritualist can achieve? I was thinking an SoS Channeling Rt, or a Rt/A or Rt/R Spirit's Strength build."

The last two builds would likely have Asura Scan and some other PvE Only damage skills.
